In my quest to set up Plume I’ve been trying to get email relaying to work for lost passwords. No real reason other than I wanted to make it work.
But it’s given me grief, it’s not properly encoding to UTF8 so one of my email providers won’t relay the mail. I then wanted it to relay via ProtonMail Bridge, so I setup postfix to do the dirty work, yet it just won’t connect at all.
After what must have been 50 reboots of the Docker container, I gave up on that and went for another host. Which thankfully works.
Why did I just spend 4 hours on this? I have no fucking idea, but it’s successful.
